Entry-level jobs starting at $20/hour

After the successful completion of a 3-month training period starting at $18/hour (plus a positive training performance review), our manufacturing careers pay a minimum of $20/hour; no prior manufacturing experience needed.

FuelCell Energy is growing as a leading manufacturer of fuel cell technology. Our platforms can produce power and hydrogen and capture carbon, and are in operation across three continents.

We're ramping up production to meet global demand and are recruiting welders, mechanical assemblers, and process operators. These positions are based in our recently expanded, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Torrington, Connecticut.



Process Operators 

Process operators are responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of our specialized fuel cell components. These positions will receive extensive on-the-job training to perform a variety of hands-on manual, semi-automated, and automated processes.

Mechanical Assemblers

Mechanical assemblers perform a variety of hands-on mechanical and electronic product assembly operations on product components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Assemblers will be cross-trained and provided with rotating work assignments.

Welders and mechanical assemblers are responsible for executing precise, hands-on manufacturing tasks for our specialized fuel cell components. These positions require significant experience and rely on the ability to safely and precisely handle a variety of materials.
